From Karp & Weiss PLC to Karp & Manzi PLC

After 40 years of high-level practice of Family Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense, Civil Rights Litigation, Estate Planning and Mediation, the law firm of Karp & Weiss has terminated its practice and the attorneys in the firm have formed two new entities: Karp & Manzi, PLC consisting of Leonard Karp, Jennifer Manzi, Judge Nanette Warner, Stephen Weiss and  Elizabeth Spilotro; and The Belleau Family Law Group, P.C. consisting of Laura Belleau and Natalie Parkman.

Karp & Weiss, P.C. was a Martindale-Hubbell “AV” rated law firm, the highest possible rating.  The named partners (Leonard Karp and Stephen M. Weiss) have been chosen by their peers to be listed in THE BEST LAWYERS IN America, Tucson’s Best Lawyers and Southwest Super Lawyers.

Karp & Weiss has been based in Tucson, Arizona since 1985. In representing clients throughout Arizona, it combined the resources and advantages of a larger firm with the personal attention that their clients deserved. Through affiliation with other law firms, it also represented clients throughout the United Sates.

Five of the seven attorneys in Karp & Weiss have now created a new family law firm, Karp & Manzi, PLC, which is the only family law firm in the State of Arizona which not only has a Diplomat in the American College of Family Lawyers, two Fellows in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers but also has a former Presiding Judge of the Family Law division of the Pima County Superior Court,  a well established estate planning attorney and a top rated civil and criminal defense attorney so that all aspects of family law are available to its clients.

The Karp and Weiss firm began as Karp, Stolkin and Weiss in 1985.  When Mr. Stolkin left to enhance his labor law practice, it became Karp, Heurlin & Weiss for several years and then back to Karp & Weiss in 1995.   Laura Belleau joined as a one-year attorney in 1995 and ultimately became a partner in 2000. Jennifer Manzi was also a partner for a number of years that Karp & Weiss operated. The Karp & Weiss law firm maintained its AV Martindale Hubbell rating throughout all of those years.
